Wealth Management Firm Formed
WEST HARTFORD, CT. – Those looking for independent and objective advice about planning their financial futures now have a new resource. Recently, the accounting firm Filomeno & Company, P.C. formed Filomeno Wealth Management, LLC (FWM), a Registered Investment Adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission, to provide investment services to its clients.
FWM works mainly with individuals and families seeking a plan to integrate their investment, tax, retirement and estate planning needs. The firm is compensated for its advice only; not for the sale of specific products. The firm brings together an interdisciplinary group of experienced, credentialed, financial advisors with backgrounds in investments, tax, and accounting.

Veteran financial planner Richard E. Thibodeau, CPA/PFS, JD is FWM’s Managing Director. Thibodeau brings over 30 years of tax and investment experience to FWM. He became Filomeno’s Director of Personal Financial Services in 2004 when he merged his company, Thibodeau Financial Advisors, LLC, with Filomeno & Company, P.C. Thibodeau Financial Advisors, a Registered Investment Adviser and CPA firm, was formed in 1992. Before starting his own firm, he was a tax partner with Coopers & Lybrand, the international tax and accounting firm.
