DeBassio Earns PFS Designation
WEST HARTFORD, CT. – Elizabeth DeBassio, CPA, an Investment Adviser for Filomeno Wealth Management, LLC (FWM), has earned the designation of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS).
The PFS designation is granted to CPAs who specialize in personal financial planning. To receive the credential, the individual must be a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) who has a minimum of 1,400 hours of financial planning business experience, in addition to continuing education within the last five years and a comprehensive and rigorous personal financial planning exam.
FWM works mainly with individuals and families seeking a plan to integrate their investment, tax, retirement and estate planning needs. The firm is compensated for its advice only; not for the sale of specific products. The firm brings together an interdisciplinary group of experienced, credentialed, financial advisors with backgrounds in investments, tax, and accounting.
